A RUTHLESS CRITICISM OF CULTURE, ALIENATION, BOREDOM, AND DESPAIR

Kentucky Meat Shower exists six times a year as a main project when I’m not working on fiction. I’m Christopher Sloce, writer and organizer, born in Wise, Virginia and living in Richmond, Virginia.

Issues are delivered in July, August, September, October, November, and December, barring any life issues. There is no singular focus. There is just, as the Manic Street Preachers sang, “Culture, alienation, boredom, and despair.” But there is also the means to criticize. That is all we do here.

Virginia's foremost purveyor of the gothic, the gritty, the grimy, and the ghastly. Home of Kentucky Meat Shower: the zine that ruthlessly criticizes culture, alienation, boredom, and despair. If you read it, a writer wrote it.
